LiveCode Create (formally codename Xavvi) has been making strides and I’m really excited to announce that we’ve just started preview testing with all of the backers from the Xavvi campaign. For the last couple of months we have been testing with 20 hand-picked individuals and we’ve reached the point where we are ready to open it up to more.
We still have a way to go, but I am incredibly proud of our team’s progress on this product. We have a brand new editing environment, with brand new widgets, a new actions editor, AI in the script editor and the first iteration of our Web Application Service to save and load your projects in the cloud.
It seems crazy to me that it was just back in May that I was creating concept videos from design files to try and illustrate what LiveCode Create could become, but today there are no mocked up videos to be seen. Take a look at this…

The IDE is looking very nice. There is a lot to like about it visually and functionally for new users esp.
