“I used to code all my projects in pascal, then I tried out LiveCode. I decided to port a few of my pascal projects into LiveCode and was amazed at how quickly and easily I was able to reproduce quality new versions….I was hooked! …that was 2009 and the product was then called RunRev. Roll on to 2013 and we now have LiveCode Open Source (secured by KickStarter funding) and Commercial versions with Android and IOS platforms added into the mix. Apart from the ease of the language, what I really appreciate more and more is that I no longer have to prototype my layouts in a seperate program. In LiveCode the prototype stage becomes part of LiveCode’s work flow, laying out your objects, attaching code and testing without a build or compile stage. This makes LiveCode quick…very quick and natural. Would I ever consider changing LiveCode as my language of choice…No Way..hit me over head and paint me blue, I ain’t changing! Roll on 2014… exiting times!”
