Possible extensions

The Pie Chart widget is very extensible. If you are looking for another challenge here are some ideas for additional features you could add.

  • Hook the widget in to LiveCode Script properties like text color, font text size.
  • Add borders around the sectors.
    • Allow the user to set the border width
    • Allow the user to set the border color
  • Display labels on the sectors.
  • Display percentage shares on the sectors.
  • Move the clicked sector out from the center of the chart.

Of course you can add any other features you think would be useful, we’d love to see what you do so please contact us or share on social media.

Congratulations
