LiveCode Commercial Premium
All the benefits of LiveCode Pro PLUS have features and enhancements added to the LiveCode engine on request, as and when you need them. If you have a project that LiveCode is almost suitable for, but is just missing feature x... this license is for you. Enterprise level support and a raft of other valuable perks make this the truly top tier license for top tier businesses.
This unique license offers brand new features implemented on the LiveCode engine specifically for you. You tell us about your project. Your deadline. Your feature set needs. Your dedicated account manager will discuss it with you in depth and advise you on the best ways to approach the project. If there are any features or enhancements to the platform you need, we will agree what those are and when you need them. Then we'll deliver. Your deadline is our deadline. It's as simple as that.
There is no metering of our time. There is no limit to the number of requests. Just a few common sense parameters that help make this work for everyone.
Up to 3 License seats - This is a license for your organization. It includes 1 to 3 commercial license seats for use within your organization or by contractors working on projects directly for you. You may add extra Pro licenses to gain additional supported seats under this plan.
Closed Source Code Editing - We will include a commercial source editing license for a single named app. That means you can fork our source code yourself and work on it or hire someone to make changes, then build a commercial app from those changes. Currently you can only create new builds under the open source GPL license, which means we need to accept the patch you make in order to use it in commercial. With this license you can do whatever you like to the source and build it commercially. You will need to tell us about your named app under nondisclosure so we can ensure it complies with our noncompete terms. And remember, Premium includes up to 3 seats so if you name your contractor as one of them, they can get all the support from us they need making those changes to the source base that you need.

Priority Bug Reports - We will start looking at any bugs you report within 4 business hours of getting them. They will go straight to the top of the queue to be addressed. Unlike our other tiers, if you need help tracking down a bug we will do that too. Book a call to screen share or talk through a strategy to help us to see the bug and we will work with you until we can find it.
Direct technical support from our team - Get help as and when you need it, by email, phone or Skype. Initial email response times within 4 business hours. Phone within UK business hours, Skype by prior arrangement with your account manager.*

Guaranteed Deadlines and Response Times - Our service level agreement (SLA) includes coverage of your deadlines and our bug fix response time. Once we agree a deadline for a feature we’ll deliver it or you will receive a discount according to our SLA.
Inclusion in our Test Suite - We will include your app in our test suite on your request. We will sign a nondisclosure agreement if necessary. Including your app means you know we will be using it for testing new versions of the platform as we build them. That means you know that we have already run your app and fixed obvious problems with each new release.

We worked with Alex Seropian and his team at Industrial Toys to help them prepare the new Midnight Rises graphic novel due out shortly for the iPad. Alex wanted to use LiveCode because it allowed him to take control over the story creation process and write the code himself in the time he had available. The platform did almost everything they needed, except that it was too slow decompressing the images needed to move from chapter to chapter. Alex used our Premium service level to get the changes he needed. The end result is quite stunning and Industrial Toys couldn't be happier.
We worked with Andrew Ashe at EuroTalk on their Maths 3-5 app. This major app has been a number 1 in the education category in many app stores worldwide. LiveCode allowed the team at EuroTalk to be truly responsive to the most sensitive customers in the world: young children. They loved the LiveCode approach because it let them try a dozen different ideas in a week to get the user experience just perfect. However they needed several tweaks to the platform. Certain types of animation ran too slowly on some devices. And they needed the ability to allow in-app purchasing in an increasing range of Android app stores as their customer base grew. They used our Premium service to get both those features.
We worked with Trevor DeVore at Blue Mango Learning systems to help them deliver a major update to their Clarify screen capture, image editing and document authoring tool. This app has been a huge success. Blue Mango wanted to add a number of text editing features in order to provide a better experience for a major upgrade to the software. These features were so important they wouldn’t have been able to continue to use LiveCode without them. We worked with them to provide paragraph styles, including bulleted lists, indents and a whole lot more. Being able to continue to use LiveCode saved the cost of rewriting the app using native technologies for multiple platforms - tens of thousands of dollars of expense and subsequent increased ongoing maintenance costs. The result was a very successful upgrade to Clarify that delighted their customers. And there was a very significant further benefit: our entire community now has access to these valuable features.
This is an annual subscription license. You may cancel at any time. On cancellation you will continue to receive all the benefits of your Premium license until the end of your paid subscription period. After that time all Premium features will lapse and your access to LiveCode will revert to the free open source Community edition. Any features created for the benefit of your project during the term of your license remain the property of RunRev Ltd and may be incorporated into the LiveCode engine at our discretion. Any apps created during the term of your license will remain functional after cancellation. You may cancel within 30 days of your initial purchase and receive a full refund. No refund is eligible after the first 30 days. If you do not cancel your license it will automatically renew each year on the anniversary of your purchase.
What this license is: A way to get engine level features essential to your app implemented on your timescale.
What this license is not: a consulting project. We won't write your app for you. We only write features that are also added to the LiveCode engine for the benefit of all.
