Full access to the LiveCode IDE, on Mac, Windows and Linux for as long as your subscription is current. Install the IDE wherever you need to use it. Your IDE license is per developer, not per computer. An individual license is needed for every developer using LiveCode.

Deployment Platforms

Build standalone applications targeting all 7 platforms. You will have access to iOS, Android, Mac, Windows, Linux, Server and Web all for just $10.99 per month. When making your purchase you will be asked to select your first platform. This is the platform you will have access to immediately. Once you have sent us proof that you are a student all other deployment platforms will be unlocked.

Permanent Standalone(s)

Yes. With the LiveCode Student Plan your standalone applications built while your license is current will not expire if your license lapses. This is not the case with the LiveCode Starter Plan where the standalone will expire if the subscription lapses.

LiveCode Starter Plan

A great way to get started with LiveCode and for those who like to code as a hobby. This plan gives you full access the LiveCode IDE with a maximum of 2 deployment platforms. This plan starts at $10.99 per month for 1 platform and goes up to $32.99 per month for 2 platforms. Any apps (standalone) that you build with this plan are tied to your subscription. This means that if you stop your LiveCode subscription then the apps (standalone) will stop working.

LiveCode Standard Plan

This is the plan for those who are building apps for business purposes. All the restrictions set in the LiveCode Starter plan are lifted with the Standard plan. You can choose to add as many deployment platforms as you wish and any apps built with the LiveCode standard plan will continue to work even if your LiveCode Subscription is cancelled. The LiveCode Standard plan also allows you to add Email Support or the Pro Feature Pack to your subscription, so ideal for professional users. The LiveCode standard plan is an annual subscription which starts at $328.90 per deployment platform per year. There are benefits to be had for adding certain numbers of platforms to your subscription.

LiveCode Student Plan

We want to make LiveCode accessible to students who want to further their education and hone their coding skills. We have adapted the LiveCode Starter Plan to make this a very attractive student offering. For $10.99 per month you will get full access to the LiveCode IDE and you will get access to all 7 development platforms. Similar to the Starter Plan if your subscription is stopped then any standalone apps that have been built will stop working at the same time. LiveCode School Plan

With this plan you will get a 20 seat license to use in your school classroom that gives full LiveCode IDE access and access to all 7 development platforms. This is priced at $550 per year. For an additional $328.90 per year you can add Email Support for the classroom teacher so that if they ever run into problems we can help unstick them.

LiveCode University Plan

With this plan you will get a 20 seat license to use in your university classroom that gives full LiveCode IDE access and access to all 7 development platforms. You will also have access to the LiveCode Pro Features Pack to allow your students to use all the features that LiveCode has to offer. This is priced at $1100 per year. For an additional $328.90 per year you can add Email Support for the classroom teacher so that if they ever run into problems we can help unstick them.
