Creating and Deploying Amazing LiveCode Web Apps with LiveCode 10
Join us online for half a dozen interactive workshops on getting the most out of the new Web capabilities in LiveCode 10. With a new lightweight Web engine, improved theming, rendering and new widgets, LiveCode 10 will make building amazing Web apps a snap.
In each session we will show you how to use the new capabilities in your Web app. Highlights include making sure your app works well on all browsers with responsive design, how to communicate with the web page, how to use existing JavaScript components within LiveCode, things to consider distributing your app and lots more. After we’ve shown you examples in each area we’ll work through any questions you have. Sessions will start in December and run every month until completion.
Session 1 – Getting Started & Understanding the New Web Capabilities.

How to create, test and upload a very simple app in the latest LiveCode 10 DP. What to think about when creating your apps. A run down on everything that works today including apps that use “wait” in their code or in the engine. A short roadmap session on what is coming in future 10 DP builds, including the LiveCode theming engine, Web Widgets set and native web graphics renderer.
Session 2 – How to Interact with the Browser Hosting your App.

Session 3 – Getting out the Web Sandbox.

Session 4 – Using the New Web Widgets in LiveCode 10.
