Music in the Air – Multimedia in Livecode
Sept 20th @ 7pm BST
We will take a look at some possibilities for the use of interactive media in Livecode through a demonstration of a music education project, Music In the Air (MITA).
Peter Bogdanoff received two degrees in Music Composition from California State University, Los Angeles, and then went on to study electronic music and composition at Indiana University, Bloomington. In 1989 he returned to California where he began working at The Voyager Company, a pioneer in interactive computer media, producing and designing many of the music programs that attracted wide attention from the media and public. ArtsInteractive is now publishing Music In the Air (MITA), an interactive and cross-cultural exploration of classical and popular music from the ancient Greeks to the present day. Also, for the last 15 years he has worked to create visual presentations for humanities-infused live orchestral concerts presented in the US and in Europe. He is married to violinist Wendy Bricht, daughter of Austrian emigré composer Walter Bricht. http://artsinteractiveinc.com
