Project-Based Learning Using LiveCode

Cyril teaches Computer Science and Tech. Ed. at Eleanor Roosevelt High School. Cyril is an experienced presenter and will be covering two sessions at LiveCode Global. His first session will be on project based learning using LiveCode.
Here’s what Cyril will be covering – Teach/Learn LiveCode through fun and relevant projects such as writing your own chatbot (simple A.I. like Siri, Google Now), BigData/Data Mining (Find the popularity of your name, etc), Digital Magic (modify photos, pixel by pixel), etc. Learning to program through research, trial and error and minimum instruction. Learn real-world skills from real-world projects.

Here’s what Cyril will be covering – Create your own apps/games/puzzles/contests to give your students to reinforce/review your class material at home. Use them out of the box; just add your own content to them. Or easily modify them yourself to change the graphics, actions, difficulty and more. Make them truly your own. Make learning fun in the digital world they feel comfortable in. Templates are provided for all ages from K thru 12.
