We would like to invite you to our Free Event on the 29th April 2015. Our aim is to bring the leaders and guests from all of the autism groups throughout the country together to introduce you to the exciting campaign to train thousands of people on the autism spectrum to code. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
As you are the people directly connected and working with families and individuals with autism we need your support to bring this campaign to life. We would like to take you through what we hope to achieve and how we will achieve it. We will also demonstrate just how easy and fun it can be to create your own apps and how important it is to speak to the families and people that would benefit from this exciting opportunity and make this a reality.
9.30 – 10am – Arrival
10.15am - Introduction to the campaign by LiveCode CEO Kevin Miller.
11am – Demo of how to build an app with LiveCode and an introduction into the course that is designed for those on the autism spectrum.
11.30am – Try it yourself. We will have stations set up for you to come and look at the materials and experience that “wow” moment of building your first app!
12.30pm – Lunch & Networking.
If you haven’t already. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm your attendance. Together we can make this happen.
Please note: There is no free on street parking at this venue. There is an NCP Car Park at St. James’ Shopping Centre.
