New Website, New Progress

It has been a little while since our last update. We’d like to bring you up to speed on where we are at with the rewards promised and progress on Next Generation LiveCode.

We have good news: LiveCode Community Server is now available for download!

You can get it here:

http://downloads.livecode.com/livecode/server/

and start using it to embed scripting in your webpages, as described in this guide:

http://livecode.com/developers/guides/server/

We know a lot of you have been eagerly awaiting this release, we hope you enjoy using it.

In the period since our last update, we have released a new refreshed website, as you may have noticed! We’d love to have your feedback on it.

We have also released LiveCode 6.0.2, with some essential maintenance fixes for iOS and Android support.

The next major version (6.1) will remove the current requirement to register a LiveCode account with us in order to activate LiveCode Community. We expect that version to ship this month. We are also on track to bring you the first developer preview of a release that includes Resolution Independence, the first of our promised Kickstarter stretch goals, within the next few weeks.

We’re also making good progress on the main project, modularizing the source code to bring you LiveCode Next Generation. You can follow the evolution of LiveCode Next Generation here:

We hope you enjoy using LiveCode Community and the new LiveCode Community Server!

Discussion

  1. However, if you carry generic programmers in IT department, you
need to know the options and how add-on development project
should be structured: especially where your domestic programming workforce should be extended by professional Great Plains Dexterity developers.
Support groups are a great way to lose weight fast if you can’t seem to do it all
on your own. Eat other types of fruits between meals such as grape, cherries,
peaches, nectarines, plums and so on.
